We made it to the sixth month of the year. (Drumrolls please).
Incase you start wondering why the excitement in announcing a quite spent month, know that I am using it as an excuse to announce my birthday which is two months away. 15th August to be precise. I'll will be two decades old. An age my younger self had calculated and planned going for youth service but then, I'm in Nigeria and nothing moves as planned. So, this excitement is for you all to open up your hearts as God will be dropping so many nice things you should suprise me with. Let him use you Dear.
I know I haven't been the best writer but then, I'm your favourite gan. I am guilty of so many things and not writing atleast once a week is part of my sins. Believe me I really wish I could but, the universe has other plans (Yes! the universe. Don't argue).
When I was entering school, nobody told me final year is this stressful ahn ahn. Like I was thinking I will have enough time on my hands to while away. I thought I will have the right to ball into classes once in a blue moon and not spend up to three hours there.
I pictured my timetable to be so stressfree. I was actually hoping I could combine other lit stuff like focusing on my business, writing atleast once a week, reading so many books, saving up money for myself, taking care of my hair, building my spiritual and social life, try out most if not all of the screenshots of so many food recipe filling up my phone's gallery. etc.
But nope I was plainly daydreaming. Because, I couldn't achieve or completely achieve most of these. Although I am grateful I can boast of growth. I learnt most things the very hard way. I made friends and I lost so many friends. Some people are still in their friendships alone till they finally realise my boat I once shared with them has sailed. Life is hard.
I was more serious with my academics this semester. (Not like I even had a choice sef).
I overcame a relationship drama😏. (Am I not too old for things like this?) I might gist you guys in details later or, I might not. Always remember to be with only those that value you. Through actions I mean and not just in words. PERIOD!
May I add I finally learnt how to properly make custard and, I did a full face makeup for myself excluding my brows sha which I pray I ever learn before I turn grey but hey, I'm still a baddie.
I now read nice books on Okadabooks and Bambooks. I'm almost addicted🙈(Coming from someone with exams back to back next week). I have been writing down some books that have been seducing me. Most of them are quite pricey but, I'll keep saving up for their sake and even though I use all my savings to buy food, I won't relent. I'll rather split money for my hair to buy them. That should tell you how serious I am right?
Speaking of hair, I have cut my hair ok, trimmed it. It's way shorter now and I no go lie e still dey pain me. But, it's for the best. "Health over length" they say.
Man, I actually like how I have cut almost all the color away not like I'm promising not to dye it the beautiful pepper red that has been on my mind lately. I keep wondering why I actually wore a wig over my nice hairstyle for my seminar defence.

These people write fire asin. They blow me away everytime I read their blogpost. I might pay to spend an hour each with them just to hear them explain how they wind up strings of words to become well constructed sentences which in turn becomes paragraphs that make up beautiful mind boggling stories which I always look forward to reading.
this will happen when I become a baby girl😊.
So, incase you miss me so much when I start my exams and have to do away with my phone and this social media my mother has sworn will actually kill me one day, feel free to check their blogs and freer to come back where you belong. HERE!
While you are doing the Lord's work by praying for success in my upcoming exams, do well to include strength to continue my squatting exercise I dropped months ago. I really want to blame it on not having enough time to cook and eat properly to get strength for this much wanted booty excercise but, I would rather take the blame. I am a Lazy child.
Also, pray no "righteous" invigilator shatters me just because of the colour of my hairstyle. I sha dey find where I fit buy nice scarves.
Because in my country, so many frivolities are used to assess your morality. I no get strength abeg.
For lack of a better picture, here we are. This shall be deleted before midnight before I chase my future husband.
Before I kiss your beautiful souls goodbye till whenever, alway bear these in mind.
1. Not everyone is your friend. Know this before en shock you.
2. Let people clearly state their intentions towards you before you commit any part of you.
3. Guy you are bigger than all your problems and your neighbour's combined. No dey too reason am. Own your happiness. Believe ALL IS IN ORDER. maybe not yours, but God's.
4. Know when to walk away.
5. Suicide is not an option.
6. Always plan yourself.
7. Don't give two F's about people's opinion of you living your best life. Just incase you have mistakenly given one in the past.
8. Failures shouldn't deter you.
9. Associate yourself with whatever wil build you closer to your dreams
