Pest Bye

Hey guys. What's up? It's me again.lol Ehe lemme gist you. Like two weeks ago, a male friend of mine. Or would i say a 'pest' of mine. Chill don't shoot me yet I mean those kinda people that will like to know and be updated about everything you are doing. Always calling upandan and, if you don't pick up on the first ring, wahala. I mean those types that always like to force their opinions on you making yours look foolish. Yes those type of people that make you want to change your visibility setting on WhatsApp to ghost mode or whatever so, they won't know when and whether or not u read their annoying 'bumper to bumper 1000 baseless texts in a minute' messages... (still don't know how to do that after how long of using WhatsApp😂). Exactly those types that think they are a significant part of you life and have a huge say in your life. I mean those that no matter how many times you fling them to the friend zone section of your life and raise the fence, you'll see them striving with so much energy to climb over. Yea that's the type of pest uncle is.

So, back to my gist. Two weeks ago, after weeks of giving excuses whenever he brought up the topic of hanging out, we ran into each other in a supermarket and before I could hide, he has already starting calling my name to 'get' my attention. He suggested we chill out and to falsify his truthful claims of me not wanting to see him, I reluctantly agreed. After 30 minutes of raising his voice as he talked about the politics of the country and other talks of being sure a party would win the presidential elections and the opposing parties wasting their time.Don't ask me the names of the parties abeg I don't want a repeat of my bus experience yesterday when two people started from a light to aggressive argument on the candidates for the forthcoming Abia state governorship elections.small time fight broke out.Serious one for that matter. You needed to have seen grown men tearing shirts. People are loyal o. Let me not deviate sha. My responses were 'hmmn' 'ehnn' as I sipped my la ca sera drink, he noticed my disinterest and maybe as a change of topic, commented on my hair. As typical of him, it was a stupid comment. Uncle said " This your hair that has about 3 or four colors. Don't you think it's capable of chasing men like me away because, it depicts you as crazy" and he was smiling like he cracked a million dollar joke. When he said that about my omalicha hair,my sweety potato hair asin my tomato jos hair. Oh No! Anger I mean red hot anger started boiling from the depth of my heart desperately forcing me to insult him starting with his worn out shoes to his elephant ears.

Instead, with a very calm voice I couldn't believe was coming from me, I replied "I'm happy my hair chases the wrong type of men who are obviously shallow minded away from me. I hope to add extra colours so, maybe they'll forever keep their distance". Well, after about two minutes, Oga remembered he had an appointment and took his leave. Although when I went home, I fought with myself for not coming out with some other bomb ass reply. Little did I know what I said got to him because, someone that does not stay without calling me and if I'm not with my phone or, in most cases refuse to pick, calls persistently till I'm forced to pick or, my battery runs flat (For real)hasn't called me for 2 weeks straight and has he blocked me on WhatsApp? because I can no longer see his profile picture.
